Care Label

Care Label

At Doruk Ay Etiket, we aim to ensure that all labels we produce deliver long-lasting durability and consistent performance. Since each label type may react differently to heat, moisture, and chemical exposure, following the correct washing and care guidelines is essential for maintaining optimal appearance and functionality.

Always begin by checking the washing symbols and instructions provided on the product. For printed, woven, or transfer labels, the maximum washing temperature must be respected. As a general recommendation, labeled textile products should be washed at 30°C – 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures may cause fading, deformation, or weakening of adhesive properties.

Bleach, chlorine-based detergents, and strong solvents should be avoided. These chemicals can damage the label surface, cause color fading, or lead to peeling. Mild detergents are always the safest choice when preserving label quality.

When ironing, direct exposure of the label to high heat should be avoided. PVC, PU, and thermal transfer labels may melt or shrink when exposed to excessive heat. Ironing the garment inside-out and using low heat is strongly recommended.

If a tumble dryer is used, choose a low-heat setting. High heat can negatively affect adhesive strength, causing the label to separate from the product surface. Prolonged drying under direct sunlight is also not recommended; UV exposure may cause the label to crack or fade over time.

Labels produced by Doruk Ay Etiket are designed for quality and durability. Following these instructions ensures prolonged performance, reliability, and visual integrity. For custom requirements and specialized label applications, our technical support team is always available to assist you.
